FAQ
Does the inflation auto stop or manual stop?
The inflator is programmed to automatically stop once the preset tire pressure is reached, no manual stop is required.
How often should I charge the inflator?
It is recommended to charge the inflator at least once every 3 months, even if you are not using it regularly. After each use, be sure to recharge the inflator before storing it for an extended period.
What should I do if the inflator goes into overheat protection mode?
If the inflator overheats, the display will show "HI" flashing for 5 seconds every minute to alert you. At this point, pressing the start button will not activate the motor.
Do not unplug the air hose. Instead, simply leave the inflator undisturbed and allow it to cool down for a period of time.
Once the internal motor temperature drops back to a safe level, the inflator will automatically reset and regain its ability to start inflation again.
Does the inflation speed vary for different tire sizes?
Yes, the inflation speed can vary depending on the tire size. Smaller tires will typically inflate faster compared to larger tires.
Why doesn't the pressure change for the first 2 minutes when inflating tires?
It's normal for the pressure reading on your air pump to sometimes not change for the first couple minutes when inflating tires, especially larger ones. The pump needs to first build up internal pressure higher than the tire's existing PSI before it can start filling the tire. The pump has a one-way valve that prevents air from flowing back out of the tire until the pump pressure exceeds the tire's pressure. Once the pump reaches that threshold, you'll see the reading start to increase as the tire inflates. The initial lack of change is just the pump doing its job to pressurize before it can begin filling the tire.
How can I get the fastest inflation speed?
Inflation may decrease when battery is running low, but Megaflow can also run on your vehicle battery through DC cord (included in package), thus maintain the highest inflation speed.
What should I do if the air is not inflating properly?
Please ensure the inflation hose is properly connected to the tire valve. Make sure there are no air leaks.
